Though not the best independent in Newcastle, they serve decent coffee (a relatively small cup in fact) and cakes. Their location next to the train station is also an advantage. Ps: A good spot to some works - the bar is not perfect to work on your laptop or read a book.
Enjoyed my visit this week. Seems like a popular place and can be quite busy mid morning but I managed to join a strangers table and enjoy my espresso. Didn't see much notice on what type of beans they were and didn't get the choice to select them but otherwise a highly enjoyable trip.
Nice place with a cool vibe. I had the dark hot chocolate and overnight oats (pic). A lovely breakfast. :)
