This is absolutely family-run coffee shop. I enjoyed here for two reasons: 1. The people here could not be more welcoming 2. Coffee, the main reason of my visit, is so decent. I also took banana loaf, which was very UNIQUE, in the sense that they do it more distinctly from other coffee shops (and it was nice - see photo attached).

Good latte, great flavour. Lovely service. Good music. Calming atmosphere: lights slightly dim and not too bright, lovely. Not too noisy considering it is on a busy road. Definitely worth going back again.

The coffee was the best during their first year of opening in Newcastle. However, the quality of the coffee changed for the worse the following year. The old man who made the coffee during the first year produced high-quality coffee. I would advise them to take a closer look at the quality of the coffee or ask that old man to help them or teach them how to make coffee.

Great little place off Newcastle campus. Gives a regulars coffee shop vibe. Coffee taste good. Atmosphere is good, something could be added to top it off even better though. Not sure what exactly, you’ll have to experiment! Thanks for the great service.

wonderful cakes and quite possibly the best coffee in town! I try to go whenever I'm in town. Busy at peak times which is a good thing, really, but it's why I've opted for takeout whenever I've been. There are a couple of outside tables, though, so if you're lucky you can get one of those.
