Held our small wedding last year with the help of the wonderful Tracey who took so much weight off the wedding planning stress!! Needless to say, gorgeous venue with lovely view - our decorations were very very simple and that was all that was needed for such a well maintained wedding site. The wedding catering was absolutely marvellous as well. Everything went flawlessly; many thanks to Tracey and Kevin for making our day so special!

My husband Jon and I got married at the Secret Tower a little over a year ago now. The venue is so beautiful! We had an amazing day, the staff were very helpful and I still can't stop talking about how the delicious the food was! Although we just had a little day celebration I can imagine a whole day/ evening party would be lovely there too!

The staff at The Secret Tower are just brilliant. They made sure I was kept informed of what was happening and when, ensured I was fed and watered and generally just blew me away with how much effort they put into making sure I (the wedding photographer) was looked after. It’s a beautiful venue, with lots of options for photographs and great staff. I can’t wait to photograph more weddings here at the Secret Tower! I really can’t recommend The Secret Tower enough!

Had our wedding here in June this year, after a year's delay. We were so glad we could still hold our wedding at the Tower as it was perfect for us. In the city centre with good transport links but it's also tucked away so everything feels private. We had the best day, everyone loved the food and said what a great day they had. Tracey and Kevin are brilliant and Tracey stayed until the end of the night to make sure everything ran smoothly. Kevin did our photography too and we are very excited to see the photos of our special day. The staff are so lovely and willing to help with everything. For a smaller wedding we had quite a few children attend and they loved playing in the orchard, which kept them entertained too.

We got married at the Secret Tower in August 2019 and had the most amazing day. We’d really struggled to find a venue, spending several months looking all over the north east for somewhere with the type of aesthetic we were looking for, that could cater for a smaller wedding on a weekend, and didn’t cost an absolute fortune. We eventually found the Secret Tower and couldn’t believe we’d never heard of it before - especially as it turned out I’d actually been walking past it everyday on the way to work! The white room is simply stunning, and even though it wasn’t the industrial look we’d initially been searching for, we both immediately fell in love with it. It’s a really special space. Kevin, the venue owner, was so approachable and helpful and made us feel instantly comfortable - there was definitely no hard sell (not that the venue needs it)! Once we’d decided to go ahead we were introduced to Tracey, who deals with all the wedding planning and was absolutely amazing. We knew we were in good hands. Nothing was too much trouble and Tracey was always on hand to help out and advise. Rather than the standard wedding packages, this venue really allows you to do things the way you want to. The day itself ran so smoothly, largely down to the hard work and attention to detail of Kevin, Tracey and the team. The food was amazing and we loved the way the ceremony space was transformed for the meal. The views are stunning and the terrace and outside space are a great bonus. We can’t recommend the Secret Tower enough and wish we could do the day all over again! If you’re looking for a beautiful, intimate venue where you will be well looked after then this is the one for you. Rachel and Joe
